Woezo Africa is a Black owned music, dance, and theatre performance company that strives to keep the cultural value of the African heritage alive. Woezo Africa is the organization behind the annual event, UNGANISHA, which is a dance theatre production that aims to represent the people of African and Caribbean descent and the unique stories they wish to tell. Founder and director, Wunmi Idowu, along with her team of talented dancers, have consistently contributed to the African dance community. For those wanting to learn the different styles of African dance, Woezo Africa also hosts seasonal dance classes, as well as dance workshops lead by a variety of talented choreographers.
